F has now had 9 months and 3 days since diagnosis and just under nine months before diagnosis. Each day is another of diabetes but also another day to thank God she is still with us.
Since she actually has neonatal diabetes she has had it since she was conceived. Insulin in a growth hormaone in the womb, which explain why she was only 2.6kg at birth. DDs 1, 2 and 3 ranged between 3.3 & 3.65kg.
I look forward to the day when she has been on oral medication longer than she was on insulin.
